DEATH CAME CALLING

This poem is dedicated to everyone who has  lost someone

You have run the race and it is time to go.
No more sorrow, no more pain,
Death came calling and we know
You have left the earth are now rejoined,
With your love, your life and precious breath. Who will meet with you in the sky.

Together you will ever be in my heart.
Though we are apart, I take this chance,
To finally be in your sweet embrace.

Just like a peaceful, healing rain.
Together we will forever be,
As one, next to eternity
From here I can see the stars,
We revel in memories, both near and far.
Your warm embrace now feels near,
My love, I have nothing to fear.

The pain of missing you so strong,
Will no longer linger long.
My love, I am now at your side,
No more oceans will we divide.
