REFUGEE

Displaced souls, seeking refuge,
Through troubles, earthquake, wars,
Facing rejection, homeless and wandering,
Confused, looking for a place to call home.

In shadows cast by shattered dreams,
They roam, lost in a world unknown,
Their hearts heavy with burdened hopes,
Yearning for solace, yet finding none.

Torn apart, their lives disrupted,
By violence’s ruthless hand,
They seek shelter, a sanctuary,
But find closed doors on every land.

Faces etched with lines of despair,
Eyes filled with tears of endless ache,
They carry memories of what was lost,
Holding onto fragments of their forsaken past.

Their footsteps echo on foreign soil,
Whispering tales of forgotten lands,
A chorus of resilience, they rise,
Uniting against the world’s indifferent demands.

Through trials, they learn to stand tall,
Their spirits unyielding, unbroken,
For in their struggle, they find strength,
In their displacement, a new hope awoken.

So let us open our hearts, extend our hand,
Embrace these souls seeking solace,
For in their journey, we may discover,
The meaning of compassion and grace.

Together, let us build a haven,
Where shelter is found, love is renewed,
A place where the displaced souls,
Can find a home, forever valued.

For in their stories, lies our own,
In their struggle, our shared humanity,
May we be the refuge they seek,
And create a world of unity.
