When life seems dim and you are on the brink,
Where faith appears dull and you are about to fall,
Jesus comes and holds you so that you do not sink,
Revives your soul as you answer to His call.
He whispers softly, mercy is here for you.
I will chase away misery and the fear you feel.
I will be your sanctuary, change your pain to joy,
And make your problems lay under your heel.
Ignite the fire,let it burn so bright,
A flickering flame destroying all that is dark.
Healing scars and making all things bright,
Scaring demons by this special spark.
Who can battle against the Lord?
Who through His death you are now
made whole,
Encouraged to push away the heavy load,
That threatens to pull down your weary
Soul.
So,in times of sorrow do not despair,
Lift up your eyes to Christ who rests there,
Waiting for you to ask for help in your affairs,
Restore your hope and show you that He truly cares.
