Through the darkness came a great light
And Jesus stood and took up our fight
Professing love and us doing right
Being our beacon in the night
He is the Shepherd of our Souls
Crucified to make us whole
Made himself an example of the role
We are expected to follow and enrol
Let us worship Christ our Lord
Who we are enjoined with accord
With the Angels to worship and adore
God in Heaven and receive great reward
