Perfect in the glowing light
Being transformed before their sight
Where Elijah and Moses took royal flight
After speaking to Jesus in the dawn light
Revealing glory that was great to see
Hidden till the time it would be
Clear to all whose eyes can see
The splendour of His majesty released
The three disciples pondered on what they had seen
And in their heart they gleaned
On the meaning of what Christ had revealed
More wonderful than they had foreseen
