The rumble and tumble that has shattered lives
Brought problems and worries that hastily arrived
And with it, came despair and confusion that cuts like a knife
Sliced with precision in those who survive
Helplessly waiting for succour and care
With hearts filled with sorrow at the burden they bear
Homeless and hoping that people will share
Whatever they have and in handling their affairs
