When we feel that we are all alone
A thousand miles away from home
Where isolation and depression has grown
Unloved and hurt by the seeds that are sown
By wicked people whose actions have shown
That they are determined to speak to us in harsh tones
Walking streets unfamiliar and unknown
Thoughts unleashing voices in monotones
Knowing that the noises are not our own
That gives us chills right to the bone
But should we cower ,slack or let out a groan?
Afraid to react to the stones thrown
No, we will not suffer or be cast down
By the ignorant or the unbeknown
We are arising to take our throne
With the courage, strength that becomes our own
Fearless in this battle that we have known
To exist before we were born
