Turkey and Syria react as the earth shakes
hit suddenly by a deadly earthquake
moving swiftly in the aftermath of the quake
Pulling down buildings as they fall and break
Laying below the wreck ,stuck under dust and rubble
Hearing movement above,while csptives lie there seeing double
Praying that someone will deliver them from this trouble
And find them through the cracks and stubble
Up above ,people huddle
With shouts and cheers as survivors cuddle
And others break the boulders as they flex their muscles
Saving the victims while families struggle
To come to terms with the devastating impact of this scuttle in their lives
