Why are blacks linked with injustice
While Policemen claim that it is justice?
Taking a life with so much pride
Committing atrocities which they hide
While subverting the law when they decide
These men convey such cowardice
leaving young victims powerless
Stirring up strife
Creating fear that is rife
While doing deeds no man describes
Barbaric mentality that has poisoned communities
Professing their innocence and claiming immunity
No pangs of remorse as they charter brutality
And think they can judge with partiality
Infecting society
So what can we do to change their mentality ?
And remind them of existing mortality
Why fester such violence
And hide behind the denials ?
Let’s love one another and get through these trials
