A special monarch who made her mark
Held the mantle with a majestic spark
Known as the longest ruling Queen on earth
In the century in which she reigned
Working tirelessly till the end
Appointing a Prime minister in you intent
To stabilise the economy before you leave
The final act of dedication for all to see
Then came the time to bid farewell
Gracefully accepting she took it well
Leaving the nation to mourn their Queen
Who elegantly left without a scene
May you rest beside your Prince
Living forever side by side
Watching over the Commonwealth
As it unravels its economic state of health
