Through all the changing scenes of life
I wandered in isolation
And feel untold annihilation
I wonder why this aberration
The tears, the fears, the separation
Is leaning towards saturation
I am standing here in speculation
Trying to shake off this fixation
Facing continual condemnation
Filled with unwanted damnation
Looking forward to some translation
That will chase away my frustration
I quickly search for inspiration
It’s open to interpretation
But today I make my declaration
And shout out my proclamation
I am free because of Jesus ‘s visitation
I stand in quiet contemplation of all He bore for my salvation
Feeling great about my emancipation
So spread the word to all the nations
That Jesus came to build a strong foundation.
