Mother’s day is a special day
When our children show us how much they care
Motherhood provides a special bond
Between the offspring and their mums
So, many children have missed the chance
Not because it was their choice
circumstances has made it so
May they find comfort in other ways
And overcome the pain that weighs
Heavily on those who cannot share
The warmth and touch of a mother’s embrace
