The drums are beating loudly ,is it time to go?
I thought there was time to have one more dance
But destiny called and shattered my plans
I have run out of time, the dark reaper is here
I woke up this morning feeling happy with hope
Filled with expectations that the day would be great
Optimistic and proud of all I will achieve
Fulfill all my dreams and make money galore
I forgot one important detail that life was not mine
I cannot control events that are destined to play
So, as I look down as my spirit departs
Unable to say what is important right now
I ponder on chances I squandered away
Selfishly thinking that was the way
It reminds me of how fleeting life truly is
And why we should make use of the time that we have
Perhaps as you listen as I float away
That you will make a difference when you hear what I have said
And change for the better showing peace and true love
Knowing that you could be next, at a time and an hour when you do not suspect
