September 1, o! what a date
Depressing thought that changed our fate
The day on which our world stood still
When you left us here; though you fought until
The final curtain fell and per God’s own will
Now ten years on,we stay and reminisce
Believing God for His insightful choice
As He heard your prayer and removed your pain
And took you up to the Heavenly plains
We treasure all the time we shared
Your love and patience , none compared
And in our hearts you will ever be
An essential part unto eternity
