I walk along,I’m in the march
I’ll have a say as I protest
I duck in time as bullets fly
A graphic scene of bodies strewn
Security forces shoot and I fall down
I see a victim as he lay dead
I smell my fear as people scream
And chaos reigns when people run
This growing fear has gripped us all
The blatant killings within curfew
The situation,a ticking time bomb
A fervent attack on civil liberties
The monsters live and terrorise
And hold Abuja,Lagos under siege
They act with boldness and without fear
While those above condone and aid
