So much pain in the world we see each day,
Death and violence seem to pave the way.
Streets echo with anger, skies heavy and grey,
While kindness grows quiet and drifts away.

A lack of love for humanity’s fragile heart,
Tears gentle souls and hope apart.
Voices once warm now fall cold and stark,
Leaving compassion lost in the dark.

Yet somewhere a whisper begins to rise,
A truth no shadow can disguise:
That even in sorrow, a spark can remain,
A light still glowing through sorrow and pain.

For hands can heal what hatred breaks,
And mercy grows with the choices we make.
If hearts remember the worth of each soul,
Then love, not violence, can make us whole. ✨
