When darkness comes and the world seems grey
And with heavy hearts you have lost your way
Lord, lift us up, both night and day.
Even when things get tough, teach us how to pray.
When troubles rise and doubts increase.
And confusion sets in to steal your peace,
Remind us that you are very near
And will take away all our fears.
When you feel faint and your strength fails
Let hope give you wings so you can sail
Above the burdens that you bear
That will lead you to the Lord in prayer.
So, no matter the time of day
Always make time to pray.
Speak to Jesus and have your say
And He will guide you on your way.
