Forgiveness, growth and rename
The Catholic Church once defamed.
He carried the burden right till the end
Fought his sickness and refused to bend
To the darkness that tried to derail
His wondrous work and all it entailed.
Let history speak of his glorious reign
Bathed in humility as he showed how humane
His gentle calmness and what he maintained
Redemption, hope and clemency regained.
