I wonder what this world could be,
If love was all our eyes could see,
A place of pure serenity,
Where hearts align in unity.
Yet dreams like whispers drift away,
They fade with every passing day,
As pain and sorrow find their way,
And steal the light that’s meant to stay.
Why is this world so filled with strife,
With fractured souls and bitter life?
Where hate cuts deep just like a knife,
And dims the hope we hold so tight.
The voices lost, the silent cries,
The truth concealed behind our eyes,
Where longing lives and spirit dies,
Beneath indifferent, heavy skies.
Still let us dare to hope again,
Through all the loss, through all the pain,
That love will fall like healing rain,
And wash away the deepest stain.
A world rebuilt on trust and grace,
Where every soul has equal place,
Where peace is more than words we chase,
But lives within the human race.
