From Guilt to Grace: Transformative Power of Faith

Like a deer blinded by the light,
Scared and filled by guilt and fright,
Wondering where the worries start,
And how I portrayed anxiety on my part.

It weighed me down like a heavy cross,
Recounting all I gained and lost,
Till Jesus said, “I have paid the cost
I am near, believe and trust.”

His whisper broke the chains of fear,
Dried every hidden, trembling tear,
Turned restless nights to morning clear,
And silenced doubt that ruled each year.

He lifted burdens from my soul,
Made shattered faith again feel whole,
Rewrote the story, took control,
And led me where the rivers roll.

No longer bound by shame or dread,
By grace and mercy I am led,
The weight is gone, my heart instead
Finds life in every word He said.

Now in His light I choose to stand,
My future resting in His hand,
From wounded places hope has planned
Redeemed, restored at His command
