When shadows stretch across the way
And certainty begins to fray,
We lift our eyes beyond the dark
To Christ, our hope, our guiding spark.
Let Christ light our path each day,
When roads seem long or hope feels far away.
His word, a lamp that softly gleams,
Illuminating broken dreams.
Through valleys deep and trials wide,
His steady presence walks beside.
No step unknown, no tear unseen,
He lights the spaces in between.
When fear would urge our hearts to stray,
His love draws courage from our clay.
Grace unfolds where doubts once lay
Let Christ light our path, come what may.
With every dawn, with each new start,
He writes His truth upon our heart.
Forward we walk, no need to ask
For Christ has lit our chosen path.
