The veil comes down and shadows creep
Between the waking and the sleep .
A fleeting dream where constant screams
Remind us that nothing ever feels the same.
We are bound by time , life slips away,
The light goes out at the end of day
And the body progresses to a state of decay
While the soul moves up to Heavenly array.
Memories linger and gently fade
Yet still in our hearts a spark remain
Unseen ,unspoken a chain unbroken
That lasts for eternity and will never be broken.
So, although death will come
Just like the rising sun.
Our unspent tears bear the grief we share
As we remember your love and care.
