Diseases explode like candy pop,
As people access this unhealthy crop.
The body pays for what it eats
That sends the heart into irregular beats.
Yet the plates are full and no one cares
While the body carries more than its fair share.
Obesity is evident but people stare.
A rising tide that blossoms and flares ,
While diets sold with promised grace
Fails to save this failing race.
