In this stratosphere of pain
Where we see loss and no gain
When circumstances try to bring us shame
Insidious acts that attempt to defame.
A refreshing light of hope comes our way
Where Jesus reminds us that it is time to pray.
He will answer when we call
Hold us up when we fall.
He is our hope and foundation
Who delivers us from humiliation.
Grant us grace in this new dispensation
Where victory is gained by His affiliation.
