From Darkness to Light: A Journey of Hope

In darkness fell, I once did stray.
My heart was heavy, night and day.
The weight of sorrow, it pressed me down,
And grief’s dark veil, did shroud this town.

But then came Jesus, with love so bright,
God’s gentle touch, lit up the night.
He spoke to me, with whispers low,
“My child, do not despair, just let go.”

His words were balm, that healed my soul,
And lifted me, from life’s darkest role.
With every breath, His peace did flow,
And hope revived, like a garden’s glow.

The chains of pain, that bound me fast,
Were broken free, as love did cast.
A smile returned, to my face so pale,
As joy, like sunshine, did prevail.

Now tears of sorrow, have dried away,
Replaced by laughter, at each new day.
For God’s great love, has changed my sight,
Turned my mourning into pure delight.

My heart now sings, I feel brand new.
Blessings flow and I feel renewed.
In His presence, I bow at his seat.
My soul now rests at the Master’s feet.
