I hear this is tragedy playing around inside my head,
Cancer is here and I feel it spread,
Within my chest my heart fears will science tread
And defeat this illness that I dread.
I am all alone wondering as I lie in bed,
Whether I am another taking the ride to death.
I hope and pray that I will breath
And overcome this mortal test.
I know my God will stand for me.
Take this pain and comfort me
And in His word I do believe
That He will save and set me free.
