Hope flickers like a candlelight,
As the earth cries in its losing fight.
Its dance with danger, the invisible fiend
Grows in momentum as the signs are amplified.
Seasons change, now out of sync.
Where winters wane and the earth dries up.
Rain pours down and will not stop.
Nature’s balance falls off the scales.
All we see are scorching lands,
relentless fires sprouting all around,
Glaciers melt as oceans rise,
earthquakes destroy habitats and people’s homes.
In this battle, there is no time for delay.
A call to arms must be relayed,
To reverse the trend of a future compromised
By pollution, Co2 emission and manmade devices.
Let us make a difference, make a start today,
be committed to being part of the change
to reduce greenhouse emissions
and save the world,
