Out of darkness we cry to you,
Just like Jacob, humble servants that you did choose.
You have formed us in the womb of old,
Took our fear out of love for us.
Turn our desolation to tears of joy,
Let the Good News come and destroy ,
Pain and misery that has encroached
On our lives as we come to you
Given new names as you redeem our souls.
You have promised life more abundantly,
Poured out waters to those who thirst for you,
Flood the streams onto dry ground.
Let your Spirit rest on those you’ve found.
Bless our offsprings as they spring like grass,
Like the willows by the watercourse.
Our descendants will walk the way with you,
Living heirs till thy kingdom come.
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my spirit upon your offsprings and my blessings on your descendants.
