I was afraid ,made some mistakes
People judged me and called me names
Trying to stir up guilt and shame
But Jesus called and said there is no gain
In incriminating words and spiteful games
There is power in forgiveness
Shirking off hate and darkness
Filling heart with peace and gladness
Showering us with brightness
You are mending every heart
Setting us apart
you will always do your part
Be with us even when troubles start
Now we are restored
Partakers of Heaven’s store
Forgiven from our works and thoughts
Redeemed, set up on a new course
