We are worried when we hear
The economic turmoil that makes us fear
Hoping that those in charge will put things in gear
Changing policies that are unclear
Panic whispers in our ears
Wondering whether chaos still lingers near
And if there are solutions that make clear
Which way we will go by the end of the year
When the dust settles may we truly hear
A positive move forward that is not severe
When people can laugh and give good cheer
Where hope is restored and better times are here
