He was known as a messenger that left a legacy behind
Spreading the gospel so that people could find
A way back to Jesus and try to remind us
Of the price that was paid on our behalf by the Divine
He will be fondly remembered as a beacon of light
Championing the message that Jesus the Christ
Paid for our salvation so that we can live right
And prepare the believers while there is daylight
He has answered the Holy role call
And has gone on before us like Moses and all
To rest in the bosom of our Saviour and Lord
Till our Father in Heaven does the final recall
