The Lord hears the cry of the poor
For His compassion is ever sure
In response to the call, St Vincent De Paul
Became an example of saving the lost
By putting into practice what Jesus has taught
Relief for the lost, believing that they are just
A refuge for the hungry, lonely and lost
Serving,praying and bore in his thoughts
The needy,the desolate who not by their own fault
aspire to be loved,befriended at all cost
Filled with love ,humility and feelings to protect
St Vincent inspired in people a desire to share
Shelter and care for those that are in want
And the beauty of kindness , to tend and repair
The sense of hopelessness in the people that are helped
