As we light the Advent candle
And remember the Annunciation
Hope and joy of Christ’s new coming
Fills our hearts with fervent praise
Come Emmanuel, the world is waiting
For the humble ,miraculous birth
Of our Saviour, our salvation
Prince of Peace on earth come down
We prepare in expectation
The renewing of hearts and minds
So we sing in exultation
Psalms of praise in celebration
