AUTUMN

The fading leaves fall from the trees

Carried swiftly in the cold breeze
Darkness creeps in and make us sneeze
And social life takes on a freeze

Summer is shifting and changing hands
As people move and adjust their plans
Working diligently to understand
Ways to take matters into their hands

Isolated and all alone
depression threatens to expose
Pain and anguish that is known
To be destructive and sink you like a stone

As autumn lands with darkened clouds
And the sun is hidden behind the shrouds
Find new ways that will allow
Peace of mind and joy abound
