When it comes to survival
There is one friend I can depend on
He was there when no one cared
He fought my war when no one dared
Showed me how much He really cares
I felt the pain, knew that I was not the same
Walked through the rain,hoping that things would change
I tried to hide the painful scars
That held me back behind these bars
Until I cried out come and save me
Jesus came and called my name
set me free, took away the blame
Opened doors,gave me a new start
Showed me love that will never depart
And promised me a chance to restart
